I am a Cadillac guy all the way. But whenever someone asks me to recommend a car, Honda Accord, Toyota Camry and Nissan Maxima are my top 3. They have problems, but are well known for their durability and ease of maintenance. Also, parts are plentiful and mostly inexpensive, so if something big does go wrong, it's usually not too much to fix. Answer: Great cars! DH drove a '90 Accord until this summer when we sold it (had over 250k miles). He's now driving my '96 Accord and I've switched to an '03 CR-V. Definitely worth the money. Very reliable cars. Check around at "other" dealerships (ie, not Honda) for a better deal. We saved $5k buying our CR-V at the Chrysler dealership in July and I saved close to the same in 2000 when I bought the '96 Accord at the Ford dealership.
Question: Should i buy the new 08 Honda Accord Sedan or the 08 Honda Accord Coupe? I'm going buy a new Honda Accord EX-L for 23,000 dollars from a dealer, were getting a 3500 dollar discount. I cant decide whether to buy a Honda Accord sedan or coupe. I personally prefer getting the 2 door because it looks really nice but the four door is more convienent. I am 17 years old. I only need the passenger seats when i take my friends sometimes or if i have to pick up family members. So i dont think 2 door would be much of a problem. I would like ur opinion on this if you were deciding between a honda accord sedan and coupe. thanks. Answer: Well if you were goign for cheaper insurance ussly a four door, if u want a nice sleek look to your car a 2 door, plus a foor dorr it is easier to get ppl in and out
Question: 2007 Honda Accord or 2007 Honda Civic? -What are the differences between a Honda Accord & Honda Civic? Are they similar as far as size, power, reliability, gas mileage & cost? Which do you think is better a 2-door or 4-door? -Also, I heard that the Accord is going to be redesigned for 2008. Is that true? If I do decide on the Accord, should I wait for that model? -Is the Civic going to be redesigned too? -So, with everything considered...Accord or Civic? Thanks so much!! Answer: I've got an 06 Civic Sedan and I love it. It's a great car, rides nicely, handles well, looks good and gets good (34-36 mpg) mileage. The 06 Civic was the 1st year of the redesign, so this body style will be around a few years. The Accord has been out a while, so a 2008 redesign for it may be true. The Accord is a bigger, nicer and more expensive car. If you need that and can afford it, that's what I'd get. But if you are looking for something more affordable and don't neccesarily need bigger car, the Civic could be for you. Go to the Honda dealer and check them out for yourself.
Question: Used Honda Accord or Toyota Camry? I would like to know from peoples experience and personal knowledge what if any problems or reacalls they are aware of in Accords and Camrys between the years 1994-2004. Particularly, if there are any model years that I should stay away from. Answer: You're going to get a car that will outlast most 3rd world nations either way, but Hondas are known for better interior materials, fit and finish. Question: Honda Accord 2008 or Scion TC 2008? Answer: Wait and get the newer Honda Accord because it looks great. End of month is a great time to BUY your new car, but it is NOT the best time to make your first dealership visit. Salesmen do try harder to make sales at the end of the month, which is about the last five days of the calendar month. In addition to the end of the month, there are better and worse times of the year to buy. Best time of the year to buy is the end of December, in most dealerships. Dealerships try to make specific quotas for end of month AND end of calendar year, and it is not a popular time to buy, so sales can slump seriously and they will try harder to make a sale, which means a better bargain. If you shy away from buying in the winter because of bad weather, think again: bad weather is when you WANT to be in the car, testing it’s foul weather capabilities. Other good times of year to buy are end of August and end of September because the old models are taking up space on the dealership property, and they want to make room for the new models to come in. If your heart is not set on a brand new model, this is an excellent time to buy a perfectly good new car that happens to have been manufactured a few months earlier. There is a very important BUT to this end of month advice: Do NOT make your very first visit to the dealership at the end of the month. Go to the dealership at the beginning or middle of the month, test drive the cars, get some info, then go home and give yourself two to three weeks to get the best financing. THEN go back at month's end armed with full information and a buying plan. Give yourself a day or two extra in case the first dealership doesn't work out and you need to go to another one. This is a big purchase, don't try to do it all in an afternoon!
Question: 1999 Honda Accord / 2003 Honda Accord? Answer: I wouldn't touch that Accord with a 20 foot pole. They are nice, my mom has one, but that is WAY too many miles. Even with an Accord almost 200K miles is pushing it. If stuff hasn't started to break yet then the will soon.
Question: Honda Accord or BMW 325is? Answer: Getting an insurance quote on each car may help w/ your decision. As with any purchase it is best to look into the other factors that go into the cost of ownership. Also are you in an area that has inclimate weather? If you can expect snow on the ground the Honda would be the clear choice. Also less miles for less $.
