Q: What should my first upgrade on my stock 2007 Honda ap2 S2000 ?
Give me a list of upgrades in order that you think i should get. or just an upgrade you would get.

A: The S2000's air volume entering and exiting the car is rather restrictive, so getting an open-ended air intake, headers and catback exhaust is recommended in order to let the car breathe more freely. Next up would be to upgrade the clutch to a stage 1 or stage 2 setup, for quicker delivery to the ground. I believe the Neuspeed clutches are more than capable of doing the job. Next would be getting a hardtop roof for the S2K. Going at 60 mph onwards with the top down creates a lot of wind resistance, and the hardtop roof on the S2K allows for the wind to create more downforce for the rear. It totally depends on how much money you have for upgrades, but if you want all out, then you might as well have the engine ported and polished (and blueprinted as well), get a turbo kit + intercooler (HKS or Greddy), a turbo timer, a boost controller, slotted/drilled disc brakes (for all four wheels) and four-pot calipers (the Spoon version) for your front brakes.

Q: want to get a good sound on my 2007 honda s2000 roadster?

A: Are you talking about mods or a sound system??

Q: what engine is in the 2007 honda s2000 and can it fit a 94 integ coupe?

A: You would have to make to Integra RWD. The conversion counting parts, labor, modifications, and fabrication work would run in the $15,000-$20,000 range. The F22 from the S2000 will run about $6,000 alone.

Q: Hard Top on Honda S2000?
If you get a OEM Hard Top on a new 2007 s2000, does it fold into the trunk or is it like the CR where you store it in the garage or somewhere else?

A: you just throw it in the garage when not in use, it dont fit inside the car anywhere.

Q: Is this a way out of my car lease?
I recently was able to drive away with my dream car, a 2007 Honda S2000 Convertible about a week ago. I know I should have done more research and consulted with others before buying the car, but I let emotions overcome my better judgment. After a few hours in the dealership, I drove the car off the lot after getting suckered into a 5-year lease @ $530 a month (including their warranty and factory alarm, which I grossly overpaid for as well). I got a call back from the finance manager the other day saying he had a better term on a lease through Honda Financial that would only increase my payments by a little bit, and also cut the term down to 48 months. After reading through a lot of different websites, I was wondering if this is a manifestation of the "spot-selling" tactics I've come across. If this is true, am I allowed to not accept their terms and either a) renegotiate to just purchase the car? b) just return the car and cancel the deal and get my down back (any add. fees?)

A: A 'Spot Delivery" is one in which the dealership has a customer sign paperwork that basically states that the car is yours unless they are unable to find funds. You can also search for your own financing as an alternate option. This practice is used when the dealership was not able to reach a lender for an approval, or if they were unable to secure the conditions for an approval. In your case, it sounds like the dealership did find a lender to fund your lease and most likely sent your deal to multiple lenders and received an additional approval which may be a better deal for you. If you are not required to go back to the dealership unless you want to explore this new option, then you were not "Spotted". A) Most dealerships would not renegotiate after you have signed contracts. B) If they found a lender, which it sounds like they did, then leaving your car there would constitute a repo company calling you 3 months later. I hope this clears things up for you!

Q: s 2000 project?
ok so i have a 2007 honda s2000 and am having a hard time finding parts. im looking for preformance no extra weight just horses and torque. im looking for cold air intakes, exaust and all the other goodies. thanks!

A: Sure, get all that stuff and void the warranty...smart move.

Q: Which one do you prefer?
Mistsubishi Evolution IX Toyota Supra Mark V Nissan Skyline GT-R Subaru Impreza WRC 2007 Honda S2000

A: Which one do i prefer hard to say really as it would only be an opinion as i haven't driven or owned each car. The Evo is a great car and offers great road sticking power and BHP to suit and hardcore looks. The Supra Mark 5 i have never seen one i didn't even know it had been released yet,the Mark 4 was great fun and a great drivers car but lacked any passenger room. The Subaru's are great fun and look and sound great although has lost so much image lately as it has become a car for the older gentleman, proof to me after hearing this was iam surrounded by Old peoples accommodation, and a few own the WRC .shame as great car. The S2000 are great cars and offer a great ride and a great challenge against the MX5,. The Skyline not sure which one you had picked as there is a good few years of the GTR since 1973,but as i have a Skyline and can give an opinion of those type of cars, then i would go for the Skyline as each model is great fun all round and each offered technology way in front of other car makers and offers great hidden power with each model offering head turning and a worldwide following.

Q: Whats the best car for a high school grad with a need for speed?
Im 18, and about to graduate high school... and if i dont keep my saturn, then ill ask for some help in buying a new car... SO! Im into older imports or anything that has a four cylinder or a few muscle cars with a v-8... I want a GREAT idea as to what has the best gas milelage, whats the least expensive, whats the most powerful OR whats a great car to soup up and get power while getting good gas milelage? Some ideas to start with: Honda Civic Si (please state best year(s)); Honda Prelude (Please best year(s)); '04-06 Mustang... GT; 2007 Saturn ion RedLine; '89-95 Nissan 240sx; Honda S2000; '98-99 Corvette; '04-06 Impereza WRX; Et Cetera... I would say my limit is about $19000... so, what might be the best turner, or car in general thats cheap and great to upgrade... w/e, give me some good ideas on what to buy, or what to buy and what to do to the car. Thanks a bunch, y'all ~VP~

A: to actually answer your question honda- no, si maybe if you get after market parts like a turbo Mustang- i have had problems with ford in the past, esp. ford racing , there goes gas milage S2000 has some punch but your insur. will be high in anything less than a 3 door. Corvette- "hi i would like to get a quote for a 18 yr old with a corvette." "hahahahahahahaha yeah right bud" Wrx at those years will not likely be 19k I would jump on the SRT4. small engine for gas mileage with a turbo giving you close to 250hp. plus aturbo only effects gas mileage if you step on it. tons of aftermarket support as well

Q: My parents are going to be buying me a used car but I was wondering which of the list of cars I should buy.?
BMW Z4 http://www.pistonheads.com/news/images/6390-5.jpg 350z http://www.zfilms.org/SportZMag/06_350Z_PR_05-SZM.jpg Mustang http://cache.jalopnik.com/assets/resources/2007/02/roush_blackjack.jpg Infiniti G35 http://www.tampabayimports.com/g35.jpg Pontiac Solstice http://www.caradisiac.com/media/images/le_mag/mag170/ndm_pontiac_solstice.jpg Honda s2000 http://assets.clickmotive.com/ail/stills_white_0640/5028/5028_st0640_046.jpg Dodge Charger http://www.theautochannel.com/news/2007/01/05/033185.1-lg.jpg At this time im sort of leaning towards the Z4, but you guys tell me what you think. Btw dont mention prices, just tell me which of these cars you would get and which one is the best chick magnet car. =P, Oh and im 17 btw not a 50 year old man having his 90 year old parents buy him a car. =)

A: The BMW 4 is the best car listed. If your going for looks and want girls to drool over it and you, its the z4 convertible. Next, mine would be the infiniti G35, then the 350z. I would never get the s2000, ponitiac solstice, too many people have them and they aren't that nice. they are ugly and too small, dodge chargers are over rated, You need to look at the new dodge challenger. You can find it at dodge.com look it up, thats way better and nicer than the charger. I wouldn't get the mustang or mustange gt, unless it was the mustang gt 500. The gt isn't that performance capable stock. It takes alot to unleash those horses, but after you do its fast. So I would go, z4 then dodge challenger, or maybe the new camaro decked out, then the infiniti, the 350z. Girls are going to wet them selves in that order. Good luck . Post a pic after you buy, i'ld like to see.

Q: i'm looking into buying a fun everyday car. 2007 mazda mx-5 or used Honda S2000 or RX-8. male?

A: The S2000 isn't really an everyday car plus it requires Premium gas and I definitely wouldn't want to pay for that everyday. It might be a bit to fast to be in every day, I don't think I could resist the temptation to cycle through those gears as fast as I can. Mazda's a great car (I own one) and would say your best bet is the Miata (Mazda may have dropped the name but haven't). Unless you need some back seat or cargo room then you should go with the RX-8. A caution concerning rotary engines is oil. They do burn alot of oil and you'll have to make sure your seals are good. My advice is to research the pros and cons of each car and find out which one suits your specific needs, all great cars though. Hope this helps.
